7. Walk in Botanical Gardens

You can stroll through the gardens, taking in the epic views of the Harbour and Opera House whilst admiring exotic and native plants and flowers. It’s open every day of the year and will offer you photo opportunities like no other.

8. Wander at Centennial Park
Moreover, this impressive park is one of the most admired parklands in Australia and has over 31 million people visit annually. Once a swamp, it was reconstructed and opened in 1888 as a ‘People’s Park’ for Sydney society. For instance, many people pack a picnic and spend some quality time with friends. However, there are BBQ facilities and the park puts on many activities throughout the year.
9. Views Galore at Observatory Hill
In addition, this grassy hill offers 360-degree views of Sydney and is the perfect spot to watch the sun go down over the harbour after a long day of exploring. As a result, get ready to experience a million-dollar view on these lofty lawns for free.

10. Walk along the Goods line
Finally, using a disused railway, the Goods Line offers a unique experience walking through an elevated park. It goes from Railway Square to Darling Harbour and is full of ‘social infrastructure’ where you can relax on the raised lawns and even play table tennis. It’s great to visit urban places that have been redesigned to enhance community through creativity and culture.
